“Creative training sessions and consultations support professionals working with vulnerable families in education and psycho-social settings to adopt a strength-based and trauma-informed approach” (Garbujo 2024).
Training and consulting
Training sessions and consultations are suitable for professionals in education, mental health, social care and palliative care settings, who are interested in trauma-informed practice, through creative methods and mindfulness strategies.
Courses and workshops combine theoretical frameworks, creative activities and reflective space to encourage participants to engage critically.
I work with groups and individuals, online and in person. Over the years, I have worked for children’s hospices, bereavement charities, mental health centres, and schools. Past training topics have included:
Trauma-informed practice in education
Working creatively with bereaved children and young people
Expressive strategies to promote well-being at work
Creative approaches to support people with life-limiting conditions.
I am particularly interested in international collaborations to promote the use of creative strategies for psychological support, coaching and supervision in education, mental health and palliative care settings.
